Imagination Hand Painted Sock Yarn

Sharing the Knit Picks love...made these baby socks/booties using Imagination Hand Painted Sock Yarn in the "Seven Dwarves" colorway.  They are so totally cute and they don't pop off like regular booties might, and fit more like a sock would because of the ribbed top.

The only problem is...what to make now with less than a skein of sock yarn?  Hopefully a consultation with this fun little book will help me out...has anyone checked it out yet?  I have lots of sock yarn hanging around, so I'm looking forward to seeing this one...

Knitting Green...with Pretty Yarn (Part 2)

Part two of eco-friendly yarns...

Hemp Yarn

Corn Yarn
What it is: A round or flat strand yarn (think fettuccine!) from the eco-friendly corn plant.  A light weight yarn perfect for warm weather, it is also washable and dryable.

Soysilk Yarn
What it is: A renewable yarn spun from soy proteins, has a beautiful silk drape and is warm and soft.
Example Shown: 100% soysilk fine yarn
Banana Fiber Silk Yarn

What it is: With a silky texture and a gorgeous drape, another ideal yarn for warm weather.
