Star Spangled Wreath, Free Crochet Pattern + Video


Here is a sweet little wreath for you to crochet…whether you are gearing up for Memorial Day, Independence Day, eagerly anticipating the Olympics, or still reveling in Jubilee excitement, this wreath will be a festive addition to any celebration.

Using small amounts of yarn and a repurposed cardboard box, you can whip one up in no time!

Materials:

  • 5.0mm (H) hook
  • Red Heart Super Saver in “Blue” “Cherry Red” and “White”
  • Tapestry needle

Abbreviations:

  • ch: Chain
  • sl st: Slip Stitch
  • tr: Treble Crochet


Instructions:

Foundation: Chain 4 and join with a slip stitch to form a ring.


Round 1: First point—[tr, ch 1, sl st] repeat four more times for a total of five star points.
