The other night I was winding some fallish yarns late at night…it was so peaceful!  It was silent all around me except the whirring of the swift and ball winder…very meditative actually.  I love some yarny eye candy, so I just had to share these with you…

This one is Malabrigo Worsted in the “Dark Earth” colorway…this was one of the many I got on my Malabrigo shopping spree a couple of months ago.  Reminds me of dry crunchy leaves on the ground.

This one I have had in my stash for a couple of years and finally got around to winding it…it was one of two, and was left on its own when the other got used for something else…Dream In Color Smooshy in the Chinatown Apple colorway…I really, really love this one.  I think the top most picture does it the most justice.

And last but not least…this snazzy little number I got from Knit Picks last year, Imagination Hand Painted Sock Yarn in the “Playtime” colorway…aren’t all of the colors in it wonderful?  So excited to get started on some new projects!  What are you working on for fall?

  1. It is scary when just seeing other people's yarn makes you happy. I think I might have a big yarn problem!
    love the colors,

  2. Wonderful yarn!! The first one reminds me of branches and dark rattan meshwork :-). For fall I just finished a set of cowl & hat for my son, and I'm working on a colorful scarf. There are so many nice patterns and really too less time for making them all!
