I finished this one the other day as an early Valentine gift for one of my loves.  I made it in less than an hour!  It is really fun to see what a pattern looks like in a different yarn and colors, so much fun!

I used the Meringue Cowl pattern:

The cream colored one below is what the original one looked like…

I made it exactly as the pattern is written with no changes.  I used Lion Brand’s Hometown yarn in Honolulu Pink.  I love this color and it it very soft.  A while back I used this same yarn for this knitted cowl and really loved it:

Have a lovely Tuesday folks!

  1. Good Morning.
I read every one of your posts. It occurred to me
that I rarely comment. I apologize for that because I have not thanked you for showing your beautiful work, or for the time you spend posting.

This is a beautiful cowl and I'm going to look for the yarn. It is theeee most beautiful color.

Thank you for sharing your work.

    1. You are so very welcome. It makes my heart happy to share and thoughtful comments like yours are the icing on the cake, so thank YOU!

PS I got the yarn at the craft store, it comes in lots of other pretty colors too. 🙂

    1. Thanks! The recipient is crazy about pink, I think she will like it. My hand was like a magnet to it when I first saw it too!

  2. Hi, your patterns are always so beautiful!!! You are so generous to share them. I was wondering if we can sell the finished product(not the pattern)on etsy with a link to you for the pattern? If not I am very happy to have the pattern for myself!!!!!
You should be selling the patterns on Etsy. You have so much talent!
    Thank you, Donna

  3. Jennifer,
I echo the comments of the others.

I made one change…I don't like the seam that results. I made my cowl a little longer and then added buttons along the lines of your Fiona Button Scarf.
