Instructions:

Ch the length of the scarf desired, plus 2 more ch. (Scarf shown here began with 160 chains, I simply made a chain that was long enough to my liking and kept track of the chain count)

Foundation Row: In the 2nd chain from the hook, work 1 sc in each ch.

Row 1: Ch 1 and turn. Work 1 sc in the front loop only of each sc from the previous row.

Repeat row 1 until scarf is desired width.

*Optional: for “outline” edge (shown here in black), repeat row 1 in contrasting color of your choice.  Fasten off.

Finishing:

  1. I just read about not copying the patterns. I pinned quite a few to my Pinterest before I saw this. Would you like me to delete them. I only make things to give away. Or donate to a Domestic Violence shelter.

    1. Nope, feel free to pin away! Pinterest only links up to the original pattern on Fiber Flux, so that is perfectly OK. Thank you for asking!

  2. Hi Jennifer, Thanks so much for sharing your skill. You are a great instructor clear and concise! Do you have a youtube or video tutorial for making this scarf? I read the instructions but am not sure how to actually do it. I learn better by copying than by reading. (:

  3. As a fifteen year old girl who has found her addiction to yarn and Crocheting.. I love how simple and easy to follow your patterns are! They have made me the talk of the school with all my different scarves and accessories! Thank you so much for inspiring me to do more crocheting!
