  1. Love this one. I have just been given two beautiful balls of wool which would be perfect. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely pattern.kindest regards Linda

  2. Jennifer, are we related???? We seem to love the same yarn! I used the WOODLANDS, TUNDRA, CARIBBEAN & PRISM colorways of this yarn to make scarves & arm warmers & I have more on order because I love working with it. I tend to get bored now with just a single color unless there are sequins (Patons lace, et al) or SOMETHING SHINY to keep my attention!!! LOL I went through the back loops only but did it horizontally instead of vertically as you did here…WHICH LOOKS GORGEOUS, by the way! I guess I will just have to learn to love LONG CHAINS if I want the effect you designed. HAPPY HOOKING!! ;-D

    1. You are so funny and I love reading your comments, they always make me smile!!! Neat idea too about how you did your scarf. 🙂

    1. I have free patterns on my site because I like to share them with others knitters and crocheters. Copying the pattern to a website, blog, etc (as stated in the copyright statement above) for republishing is a serious copyright violation.

However, you are free to print a copy of this material for your own personal use if you need a hardcopy while working on your scarf.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions. Thanks!

  3. Thank you for this pattern; I make scarfs for soldiers and since there is a size limitation this pattern is perfect since you can make it the size you want it!

I am new to crochet and would like to thank you SO MUCH for patterns that are easy to follow for folks like me who are just beginning this journey.

To that end, I am going to use this pattern to create men's scarves for Christmas this year. Because I'm new, can you help me understand what a good sta!rting chain number would be for a guy, to wrap comfortably? I was thinking 200 ? Thanks in advance, I am anxious to get started on this fabulous project!
