Good morning and Happy March to you!  Did you know that it is National Crochet Month?  Yippee!!! I have lots of exciting things planned for us…I have been anticipating this for a while, I can’t help but smiling while typing this.

I would love to know, dear stitchers, what is keeping your hook busy this week?

  1. I need to start a baby afghan. For some reason I have been putting it off, but the baby shower is March 23, so I better hurry up!!

  3. I've started to crochet a stash of Christmas gifts and I wanted to say a big thank you to you. I have a few balls of bulky wool and I couldn't find nice patterns for them….Until I opened your blog this week and saw that you had very kindly put all your lovely chunky patterns together, I was delighted and am currently hooking one of your lovely neckwarmers.
I have only learned to crochet this past few months and your blog is a great inspiration and your instructions are so easy to follow.

    Thanks

    1. You are so welcome! And thank you for your very kind comment. I'm a big fan of bulky yarn…I love how it looks and feels and especially how fast it works up too! 🙂

  4. I've just started what I hope will be my first cardigan sweater with a beautiful multicolored variegated Red Heart. A photo is on my blog, elainelk-tealeaves.blogspot.com, also celebrating Crochet Month!

  5. I'm working on a blanket for my baby due early August. It's turning out beautifully even if it is a bit slow. I'm also thinking of making another self-folding hot pad. You can never really have too many of those.

  6. In January, I joined a CAL group on Google+. This month, we're doing an Irish filigree necklace. I'm excited and anxious! Typically, my motto is the chunkier the better… this size 7 hook is the tiniest I've ever held. So far so good, though.

  7. I am making your Mulberry Shawl. I just learned to crochet a month ago and I've already made your vanilla bean scarf in charcoal gray. I love your site!

    1. Thanks! Yay for learning crochet too! The gray scarf sounds lovely, charcoal is one of my most favorite colors to wear, too. 🙂

  8. I am working on two afghans: one for my brother and another for my nephew. My nephews birthday is on the 12th and am trying to get it finished before then. My brother has been waiting for his since October.
