The Grape Jelly Crochet Scarf is a fun corkscrew scarf with a fabulous pom pom at either end. This scarf is completed in just two rows and can be easily sized to fit anyone…child or adult! Super bulky yarn makes this scarf extra toasty too.

Sizing:
- Scarf can be made as long as you like by making your starting chain longer or shorter. Scarf as shown measures approximately 3 inches wide. Wider width can be achieved by working row 1 until desired width.
Materials:
- 1 Skein Lion Brand Hometown USA Yarn in “Denver Rocky Mountain” colorway
- 1 Skein Lion Brand Hometown USA Yarn in “Minneapolis Purple” colorway
- N (9.0 mm) Crochet Hook
- Tapestry Needle
Instructions:
Foundation (worked in lighter purple): Make a chain as long as you’d like your scarf to be, plus 3 more chains. In the 3rd ch from the hook, work 1 dc. Work 2 dc in the next chain and in each ch to the end of the row.
Row 1 (worked in darker purple): Ch 3 and turn. Work 1 dc in the first stitch. In the next stitch, work 2 dc. Work 2 dc in each st to the end of the row, then work 2 dc in the turning chain space. Fasten off.
Note: If you’d like your scarf to be wider, just repeat row 1 until desired width is reached. Please adjust yarn amounts accordingly.
Pom Poms:
Make two pom poms using leftovers from both skeins. Click here for a photo/video tutorial on making a multicolored pom pom… Leave tails intact for attaching them to the scarf later.
Finishing:
Attach pom poms securely to each end of the scarf using tails from the pom poms. Weave in any ends from scarf that remain.
This pattern will work up very fast just in time for fall or gift giving:) Lots of possibilities with color choices! Thanks for sharing!
