These coffee cowls are a super fast project that give your coffee or tea a little handmade love.  Give a few as gifts and keep a couple for yourself too!  Three different stitches are included in this pattern…I gave a few sets as gifts, one of each.  All three stitches were inspired from scarves I made this season…scroll down below to see which ones!  Finish off your cowls by either seaming together or adding a button.

Finishing:

To finish your coffee cowl, decide if you’d like for it to be seamed or have a button closure.  To seam, you can:

Slip stitch or single crochet the ends together.  Click here for photo tutorial…

Whip stitch the ends together.  Click here for photo tutorial…

To make your coffee cowl have a button closure, sew a button to one end, and use the decorative “holes” from each cowl pattern as adjustable button holes.

Weave in all ends and you’re finished!

This project was inspired by three scarves I made this season, if you had fun making your coffee cowls and liked a particular stitch, definitely try a scarf too!
