Everybody Easy Crochet Scarf

The Everybody Easy Crochet Scarf was designed with everybody in mind…it has just enough texture to hold its own with solid yarn, but isn’t too busy to handle a variegated yarn too.  It is nice and wearable for anyone and can be crocheted in any length for anyone’s height too!  It also works up quickly, making it a great scarf for yourself, a fabulous gift, or for charity (or all three!)

  2. HI,
I don't know if my last message went through so just sending this just in case it failed.
Im looking forward to crocheting my very first scarf for myself and when l came across this pattern it was PERFECT for me.
    My question is:
In Knitting the pattern is in blocks of rows/stitches. If l wanted to make this scarf wider for myself say 9 inches wide.
How many extra cast on's will l need?
Maybe adding 3 or 4 extra blocks to the width.
    Hope this makes sense?
It did my my head but then that's a whole different story lol.
Thank you for publishing a easy pattern that's great for men as well as women all you have to do is change the yarn/wool.
    Happy crocheting everyone….

  3. So this is my first ever finished crochet piece.. And I am so proud of it! Thank you so much for this simple, easy to read pattern! I used the same color, but a different yarn. I used primarily wool.. Which made for a very stiff scarf! But now I know.. And since its my first, I love it anyway 🙂 the only thing I changed.. Well, added really.. Was bundles of fringe in each hole at either end. Love this pattern, thanks again!

  4. If I wanted to make the scarf narrower/wider am I correct in thinking that I would subtract/add in 4 chains in the starting row?

  8. Hi! Thanks for sharing this great pattern. I did get a little confused (new to crocheting) I think the written direction may be missing a step from the video. I missed the ch 3 after the dc?

  9. I love this pattern and it is working up so pretty. Mine has a slight curve on the dc into the turning chain side. From your picture it seems to have a slight curve so just seeing if that is normal. Thank you for the great tutorials!
