I recently had the pleasure of recently receiving It Girl Crochet by Sharon Zientara from Interweave Press,  (Interweave $22.99) a collection of 23 crochet patterns from 16 designers.

It includes a wide array of garments and accessories that are on trend and have a range of techniques and different skill levels.  I found the glossary in the back to be very helpful for where to source the yarn used as well as an informative instructional section with diagrams.  The photography in the book is all full color and shows the projects beautifully.

If you need a small project on the go or are ready to make a larger garment, It Girl Crochet has you covered!

I especially like how the book contains a diverse mix of techniques for each stitcher’s comfort level.  From basic stitches to more advanced techniques like Tunisian crochet and tapestry crochet.  There are even some beaded projects, which I always enjoy working on.

Now that we are entering the cooler months, this book is filled with wearable and giftable projects for any “It Girl” you may know.  Not to mention the book itself would make a fabulous gift as well!
