Sizing As Shown:
- 6 inches wide
- 60 inches long
- This width of this scarf can be easily changed by adjusting the stitch multiples (see below).
- The length of the scarf can also be adjusted by working more or less rows of the pattern repeat to make the scarf longer or shorter.
Materials:
- 240 yards of worsted weight yarn of your choice (yarn in photos is “I Love This Yarn” in the Red Tweed colorway)
- I (5.5 mm) crochet hook
- Tapestry needle
- Scissors
Instructions:
Ch 18
Row 1: In the 4th ch from the hook, work a dc. Work a dc in the next ch. In the next ch, work *(1 dc, ch 3, 1 dc). Skip the next ch, work a dc in each of the next two ch. Repeat from * across, then 1 dc in the last ch.
Row 2: Ch 5 and turn. Work *(3 dc, ch 3, 1 dc) in the ch 3 space from the previous row. Repeat from * across. Work 3 dc in the top ch of the turning chain.
Repeat row 2 until the scarf is 60 inches long or desired length.
Finishing:
Weave in all ends with a tapestry needle and you’re finished!
