Instructions:

Ch 25

Row 1: In the 4th ch from the hook, work a dc.  Work a dc in each of the next 4 chains.  Skip two chains, then work a dc in each of the next 4 chains.  Chain 2, then work a dc in each of the next 4 chains.  Skip the next two chains, then work a dc in each of the next 4 chains.  In the last chain, work 2 dc.

Row 2: Chain 3 and turn (counts as a dc).  Work a dc in the first st, then a dc in each of the next 4 sts.  Skip the next 2 sts, then work a dc in each of the next 3 sts.  In the ch-2 space (from the previous row), work a (dc, ch 2, dc).  Work a dc in each of the next 3 sts.  Skip the next 2 sts, then work a dc in each of the next 4 sts.  Work 2 dc in the top chain of the turning chain from the previous row.

Repeat row 2 until cowl is desired length and do not fasten off (unless you would like a scarf instead, then fasten off and weave in ends)

Sandwich both ends together (they will kind of fit like a puzzle).  Insert hook into both layers and work a slip stitch in each stitch across to seam it up.  Fasten off, weave in ends and you’re finished!
