Night Sky Crochet Cowl

The Night Sky Crochet Cowl is chunky, cozy, and super fast to stitch up!  Worked in alternating treble crochet and half double crochet stitches, it makes a great quickie gift and is perfect to show off some beautiful yarn too. You can easily whip up a bunch of these, one for yourself and some for friends and family too!

Materials:

  • 3 balls of Alchimia by Adriafil (Note: I used approximately 180 yards total.  If you need to substitute yarn, look for a super bulky (#6) weight yarn that recommends a 9.0 mm crochet hook on the yarn label and uses the same yardage)
  • 9.0 mm Crochet Hook
  • Tapestry Needle
  • Scissors

Sizing:

  • Cowl has a 40 inch circumference
  • Cowl is 9 inches tall

Note: Cowl can be made bigger or smaller around just by adjusting the starting chains. There is no special multiple for this cowl, so you can use any chain number you like! To make your cowl taller or shorter, simply work more or less rows of the pattern.

  1. This is really pretty thanks for the pattern. I'm a bit confused by the directions, it has row 1, row 2, row 1. But it looks like it is a 4 row project. Can you clarify please.
