The Blueberry Pie Crochet Scarf is an easy and quick to crochet project that gives a nod to a fabulous summery dessert. The color evokes rich purpley-blue pie filling, while the design is similar to a classic lattice pie top. Perfect project for beginners and seasoned crocheters alike!

Such a pretty scarf and the color is beautiful. Thanks so much for sharing your pattern.
You are so welcome! Happy to share…happy crocheting to you!
This is a really pretty scarf and I am currently making one. However, I would like to make one by chaining on around 24 to make it a little wider but I am not good at enlarging a pattern……. do you know how many I would need to chain on to get it to work out…….
Use a bigger hook. I used an L instead of a K and it's a lot wider now
Gorgeous scarf! However, I am confused on row 2, I can't make sense of how it relates to row 1.
Hi Amber!
Row 1 is the "foundation row" if you will, and row 2 is repeated until you achieve the length you desire…hope that answers your question!
PERFECT NAME! I can almost smell the warm blueberry pie! If I go and buy a pie and break my diet it may be due to recreating your beautiful pattern! LOL Thank you!
Hilarious! You are making me hungry now! 🙂
Thanks for sharing! I did this in two nights and sewed together for an infinity scarf. With one skien, mine was skinny and very long (don't know if that means I am crocheting too tight or loose…I haven't been crocheting for a few years). Either way, when I sewed it together it looked awesome!
Sounds pretty!
This is a very lovely scarf, thank you for sharing.
Thank you and you are so welcome!
How do I print this pattern?
An easy way to print is to highlight needed text, select "copy" with your right mouse button, paste it to a Word document, and print.
I'm having troubles with getting row 2 correctly. I'm only ending up with 3 sets of dc's per row, but your pic shows 4 sets of dc's per row.I've tried using both the first and second ch1 space with no luck when starting row 2. My first scarf came out a little too skinny with just the 3 sets of dc's (4" wide), so trying to figure out how to make it correctly for the second scarf.
Thanks for your patterns! Just getting back into crocheting, and your patterns and beautiful and easy to follow!
Thank you so much!
I started this scarf for a great niece of mine and had to add one chain to the foundation row. Every time I started the foundation row 1, and I tried 10 times, I kept coming up short a chain on the end so I added one and started with 16 and the foundation row 1 came out perfect. This is a beautiful scarf in the color it is shown in but my great niece wanted shocking pink and so far it is beautiful. Thanks for the pattern.
Glad to hear that…the pink sounds lovely…one of my favorite colors!
Great pattern! Thank you for sharing! Do you have any suggestions if I want to make it wider? how many chains do I have to add? Thank you!!!
Beautiful pattern, thank you!! :). 🙂

Can you give me the total number of stitches at the end of a row? That seems to help me best.
Loved doing this. This is the first ever item I've crocheted that came out the same width all along the whole length! Finally I am figuring it out. My daughter is thrilled. I used a color more like raspberries that had a little orange in with it.
That sounds really lovely! 🙂
This is EXACTLY what I've been looking for! Thanks!
This pattern is wonderful. I have been looking for one that I am able to make nice looking scarves, yet easy to follow. Thank you!!!
YAY ME! (and you!) This is my first ever crochet project and it looks great! I've tried and tried to learn to crochet but always got so frustrated, I'd quit. It helps so much to have the video that you can stop wherever you need to and replay certain parts over and over. So glad I found this tutorial! Thank you!
Great pattern, turns out great! I used the same yarn except in lime green, orange, brown tweed. Would like to find the purple tweed too, great, soft yarn.

Watch the video. It works. Written pattern isn't exactly like the video. Makes a nice quick scarf.
I am new to crochet and taught myself. I absolutely adore this scarf and am making my 5th one now LOL. Everyone loves them!
I m New to crochet, this easy to follow scarf is fantastic… I m able to crochet within a short span of time… Thanks
I love the sxarf and can't wait to make one for myself and for Christmas gifts!! In some cases I would like to make the scarf wider…what would I need to do to make it wider? Thanks for your help!!
Thanks so much for your patterns. I'm learning to crochet online and used this for practice of the double crochet stitch. Love the scarf. My only regret is using Homespun yarn (because I already had it at home). It's a tough yarn to see the stitches and gets caught a lot. I'd definitely make again, but with another yarn!
how do you end the estelle cowl in crochet?

I am what u wud call an advanced beginner crocheter – I wud luv to try this – it sounds easy. It is beautiful – luv the color. I noticed u mention patterns r for personal & charity use only – does that mean I cannot sell the finished product if I so wish or just that the pattern is for personal/charity use. If I do sell, possibly online on Kijiji or something like that I wud mention that the pattern is yrs & mention yr website. Much appreciate yr ansr. Again, just luv the color – it does look like blueberry pie – yum, yum. Tk u.
