Yarny Kids Project…Bubble Pendant Necklace!

Bubble pendant necklaces are simple and fun to make…take them on a picnic or to the park, for fabulous bubbles on the go!  For some reason we always seem to have these on hand leftover from past parties, here is a fun way to use them, also makes a great activity for a play date or party!

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Party bubble favors (if you don’t have them you can easily find them in the party aisle at most stores)
  • Yarn or scrap ribbon
  • Beads
  • Stickers, gems, sequins, buttons or any thing else you like
  • Scissors

Start by cutting the yarn to the length you want it…you don’t want it to be too long, but not so short that it can’t go over a head.  You also want it to be long enough for the child to be able to reach down and be able to use the bubbles.

Tie a knot around the neck of the bottle,

Now for the most fun part…decorating!  String beads onto the yarn…you can fill the whole thing up or just a few like we did.

Tie a knot (a double knot is a good idea).  Snip off any excess,

You can also embellish the bottle with any stickers, gems, sequins, buttons…for the sparkly stickers, we cut up an extra foam letter sticker.

Now you’re ready for bubble fun!  Refill as needed and make one for a friend too!
