If you’d like to add a pom pom, you can make one yourself or you can put a faux fur pom pom on top like I did.  For either pom pom, be sure you have two tails to tie it onto the hat.  Tie to top of hat and weave both tails in.  Here’s a helpful video if you need help attaching your hat.

  1. Hi Jennifer–I am making this hat and where I join my round makes a seam of sorts that slants to the right. Any idea what I am doing wrong?

Thank you for all your patterns and videos. I feel confident when I crochet with you and I am willing to branch out and try new things with your videos to guide me. You taught me to crochet and I am so thankful!

  2. You never say or have in the info what the yarn weight is. I am going to try to look up the product online and see if I can find it but it would be nice to have it listed when mentioning the yarn. New to crochet and this pattern is great for a beginner. Thank you.
