  • E (3.5 mm) crochet hook
  • Tapestry needle
  • Scissors
  • Earring posts and backs
  • Beads or buttons for centers of flowers
  • Earrings posts and backs
  • Hot glue or fabric glue

Begin by making 2 flowers:

Foundation: Chain 5 and join with a slip stitch to form a ring.
Round 1: Work (3 dc, sl st) into center of ring five times, then join with a slip stitch to close flower and fasten off.

To make a flower with six petals, simply work the (3 dc, sl st) into the center of the ring six times.

Next weave in ends, glue posts to back of each flower.  Allow to dry, then add button/bead to each flower center and let dry.  If using fabric glue, be sure to use in a well ventilated area.  Add the earring backing and they are ready to wear or gift to someone special!
