Boardwalk Breeze Blanket, Free Crochet Pattern + Video Tutorial

The Boardwalk Breeze is a beautiful and super comfy blanket that is quick to stitch up.  Shades of aqua, cream, and soft red give the blanket a beachy nautical feel, like taking a stroll on the time honored boardwalk to gaze at the ocean!

  1. When you get to the third row even though you're repeating Row 2 there is no change space to do your increase. You need to clarify the pattern

  2. Thank you for such an easy-to-use ripple pattern. I am doing it in worsted weight acrylic yarn and changing color every row. Thanks again

  3. Love this pattern! It's super easy and just what I was looking for for the Bernat Maker Home Dec yarn I'd bought for a baby blanket. I decided to work in the BLO to give it a ridged appearance. It's turning out great! Thanks for the great tutorials.

  4. I have Caron Simply soft yarn using a 5.5 mm crochet hook, should I double the pattern so that it is still a comfortable size throw??

  5. following your instruction casting on 125 stitches using L 8mm hook and the home dc yarn my blanket measured 60" x 36" what how did that happen I also notice that you do not answer on comments what is up with that?

  6. Just a silly question, but if you're putting 2dc in the last stitch each time, but not skipping one on the above row, are you not just increasing every row? Won't the throw just keep getting wider and wider?

  7. I am interested in making this in a larger pattern. I would like to have 10 or 12 dc's on each side of the chevron. But cant seem to find the correct starting stiching numbers. Could you help with that. Thank you.

  8. Hi Jennifer, I would like to make scarft using this pattern. Will the pattern work with superfine or dk yarn ?

I am a newbie on crochet, I learning crochet from your tutorial on youtube. Currently I am working on my very first project following your tutorial on absolute beginner scarf. It takes 3 attemp to make the edges straight and it looks good now and make me so proud of my self :-).

Looking forward to your reply. Thank you

  9. HI Jennifer I know this has been up for awhile but I have only just found the video, I have 4 carol cakes that are 383 yards each do you know if this will make the throw close to the size you made? Thanks kim
