I have a fabulous review & giveaway for you today lovelies! I recently was able to check out Crochet To Calm (ISBN: 978-1-63250-495-1, Interweave F+W).

I have to say I absolutely love this book and the concept behind it.  One of the main reasons I crochet and craft is to calm my mind….so this book really resonates with me for sure!  Inside are 18 fun and easy projects to de-stress and de-clutter your life…how awesome is that?  One thing I love about crochet is how easy it is to get started, just some pretty yarn, a hook and your hands…nothing fancy needed!

Crochet to Calm is beautifully photographed in full color and complete with easy to navigate charts to make things extra helpful.  I love the variety of items to make like cowls, hats, mittens, and the super cute slippers shown below:

The back of the book is a great learning resource too with an illustrated techniques section, a guide to abbreviations, and a very handy metric conversion chart too.  So whether you’re a crochet expert or starting out, you’ll know just what to do.

  2. I love several items shown from the book. Seems I am drawn to the gold slippers and the afghan in the same color. Both of those would be on my must do list!
