Quickie Gift Cowls, Free Crochet Pattern + Full Video Tutorial

Need a 30 minutes or less quick gift? You've come to the right place! The Quickie Gift Cowl is toasty warm and fun to make. Chunky lace gives it beautiful texture and there is no seam either, which makes it extra comfy too.

This project is especially great for those who need to whip up a few gifts in one sitting...be sure to make one for you too!
Need a little help? There's a full video tutorial below too!

Instructions:

Ch 30, join with a sl st in the furthest ch from the hook.

Round 1: Ch 4 (counts as a dc and a ch 1), work a dc in the first ch.  *Skip 2 ch and in the next ch, (dc, ch 1, dc).  Repeat from * to the end of the round.  Join with a sl st in the starting chain (from beginning of round) in the third ch up to close the round.

Round 2: Ch 4 (counts as a dc and a ch 1), work a dc in the first V of the round (this on is a little different because it is made with a ch 4 + 1 dc).  *Work a (dc, ch 1, dc) in each ch 1 space from the previous round (center of each v).  Repeat from * to the end of the round.  Join with a sl st in the starting chain (from beginning of round) in the third ch up to close the round.

Round 3: Repeat round 2.

Round 4: Repeat round 2

Weave in any ends and you're finished!

  3. I love the look of these, but dilike chunky yarn. How would I make these using worsted weight?
