Circle of Hearts Greeting Card, Free Crochet Pattern + Video


The Circle of Hearts Greeting Card is a beautiful way to gift something handmade for any occasion.  The pin is removable so the recipient can wear the pin later.  You can also add fun little touches like buttons, ribbon, and more to make it extra special!

For this project you'll need:
  • Circle of Hearts finished pin (full video tutorial and written heart pattern below--you need an H hook, cotton dishcloth yarn, buttons, hot glue, felt, and a pin backing)
  • Blank greeting card
  • Hole punch
  • Scissors
  • Hot glue
  • Pencil or pen for marking
  • Embellishments (buttons, ribbon, beads, pom poms, and anything else you may have on hand)


Here's the Heart Pattern:

Chain 4 and join with a slip stitch to form a ring.
Round 1 (work all stitches into the ring): dc, tr, dc, sl st, dc, tr, dc, sc, sc, sc, tr, sc, sc, sc, join to close heart and fasten off.

Instructions:
  • Using the Circle of Hearts Pin tutorial, pin to center of card (alternatively, you could just make the hearts and glue them in a circle to the center of the card and add buttons to the center too!)
  • Add ribbons and buttons as needed.
  • Allow dry to completely set before placing in envelope and giving.
