For this project you'll need:
- Circle of Hearts finished pin (full video tutorial and written heart pattern below--you need an H hook, cotton dishcloth yarn, buttons, hot glue, felt, and a pin backing)
- Blank greeting card
- Hole punch
- Scissors
- Hot glue
- Pencil or pen for marking
- Embellishments (buttons, ribbon, beads, pom poms, and anything else you may have on hand)
Here's the Heart Pattern:
Chain 4 and join with a slip stitch to form a ring.
Round 1 (work all stitches into the ring): dc, tr, dc, sl st, dc, tr, dc, sc, sc, sc, tr, sc, sc, sc, join to close heart and fasten off.
Instructions:
- Using the Circle of Hearts Pin tutorial, pin to center of card (alternatively, you could just make the hearts and glue them in a circle to the center of the card and add buttons to the center too!)
- Add ribbons and buttons as needed.
- Allow dry to completely set before placing in envelope and giving.
