Home All Day Slipper Socks, Free Crochet Pattern + Video

For those easygoing days at home, here are a cute and comfy pair of slipper socks that you can stitch up in no time flat!  I created this pattern in response to several requests to make the same slippers in a lighter version for this time of year.  If you’d like a bulkier pair, try the Strawberry Blossom Slipper Socks too!  If you use one of the popular cake yarns like I did, it’s fun to see how the random stripes and color blocking plays out too!

Need a little help? There’s a full video tutorial below too!

  1. Great! Thats a super easy tutorial. You r always so easy to follow. Kindly tell me how to change size of sock?

  2. Hello. I just want to say how lovely these socks look. Sadly, as easy as this pattern is, I've tried making these socks two other times & bith times the sicks came out way too small. I used the same exact yarn & a bigger hook (J-5.75mm). I'm a Tall & Chunky Lady, so I was wondering if there is anyway you can help me & alternate the pattern to fit a Size 12/13inch foot with bigger calves?? I'd greatly appreciate you from the bottom of My Heart. Hope to hear from you. -Kristina Sauceda

    1. Maybe try adding an extra increase round? Either doing as you would to continue the pattern or just every other increase?

  3. Thank you dear!! I am going to modify these socks into super soft slippers Ive been wanting to make!!! Again…Thank you!!!

  4. I'm having trouble keeping the sock uniform from bottom to top. Me be seems to grow wider as I go up to desired length.

  5. I loved reading your blog. I’m looking forward to your tutorial and videos. Thank you so much for posting beautiful spring pictures! We’ve had the worst spring weather ever this whole quarantine. Other than a couple of days of sunshine, it’s been rainy, windy, and cold. We even had snow in April and May, which we’ve never had here in the 16 years we’ve lived here. I want to try your socks, don’t know why I put it off. Fear I guess. But with video, maybe I can manage. My biggest problem is I hate double point needles. I bought a small circular and also a long one for Magic Loop, so maybe one of those will work for me. Thank you for putting out things to support learning sock knitting.

  6. I made them and they came out great. Easy to follow pattern. I used acrylic, not sure what I did wrong, but after I wear them for a little while they stretch. I guess it is the yarn. Should I use a smaller size hook next time? Thanks!
