I have a fabulous review & giveaway for you today lovelies! I was recently able to check out Step Into Crochet: Crocheted Socks from Basic to Beyond!  by Rohn Strong (ISBN: 978-1-63250-478-4, Interweave F+W).

Crochet socks!  How awesome is that!  Designer Rohn Strong (whose work I adore by the way) brings us 18 gorgeous sock projects to crochet.  From easy/beginner patterns to more involved techniques, there’s truly something for everyone.  Socks are fun to make and an ideal project for on the go because of their portability.  Best of all, you can make piles of them and wear a different pair every day!  Try an ankle pair in cool cotton for warmer days or a woolen pair for days you want to cozy up too.  This book is full of many different styles and has a comprehensive sizing guide to make your socks fit perfectly.

Step Into Crochet is beautifully photographed in full color and complete with easy to navigate charts, guides, and diagrams to make things extra helpful. I absolutely love the variety of skills to try like cables, colorwork, ribbing, lace and so much more!

Be sure to check out the learning resources in the back with an illustrated techniques section, a guide to abbreviations, and a very handy metric conversion chart too. If you’ve never made socks or worked with sock weight yarn, theres a handy guide too for sourcing the perfect skein.

Every single one of the socks in the book are so lovely and look super comfy.  The stripes above are so fun and check out the texture of those sunny socks below too!

One of my favorite projects from the book would have to be these blue socks…I love the delicate stitching and that sky color is fabulous!  I can totally see myself wearing these around the house all year long.
