I have a fabulous review & giveaway for you today lovelies! I was recently able to check out Classic Crochet Shawls from the Editors at Interweave (ISBN: 978-1-63250-610-8, Interweave F+W).

Inside are 20 gorgeous shawls perfect for just about anyone. I wear a shawl or wrap all four seasons of the year, from cold winters days, to cool summer nights. They are perfect gifts too beacuse you don’t have to size them and you can experiment with different stitches and techniques too! I love how the book includes more traditional looking lacy projects, but also more modern geometric pieces as well.

Classic Crochet Shawls is beautifully photographed in full color and complete with easy to navigate charts, guides, and diagrams to make things extra helpful. This book is absolutely packed with different techniques like motif work, filet crochet, broomstick lace, mesh, and a whole lot more!  The yarn used to make each project is as varied as the techniques with chunkier fibers to delicate light lace weight pieces.

Don’t miss the learning resources in the back with an illustrated techniques section, a guide to abbreviations, and a very handy metric conversion chart too. Classic Crochet Shawls will help you along each step of the way to make your own shawl extra fabulous!

One of my favorite projects from the book would have to be this coral/peach shawl…completely loving that lacy fan stitch…so lovely!
