The Mega Squish Throw is fun, fluffy, and easy as pie to stitch up! Gloriously thick and soft yarn make this the squishiest blanket ever! Because of the mega thick yarn and gigantic crochet hook, you could easily make this blanket in one evening too!

Materials:

  • 25 mm US 50 crochet hook

  • 9 balls of Irresistable from Red Heart (I used 3 balls of “Silver” 3 balls of “Aqua” and 3 balls of “Chartreuse”) Each ball is 29 yards.

  • Tape Measure

  • Scissors

  • 50 inches wide

  • 50 inches long

Abbreviations and Tutorial Links:

Instructions:

Ch 30

Row 1: Work a dc in the 3rd ch from the hook.  Work a dc in each remaining chain.

Row 2: Ch 3 and turn.  Work a dc in each st, then a dc in the top of the turning ch from the previous row.

Repeat row 2 until throw is about 50 inches tall or desired height.

Weave in any ends using your fingers and enjoy your fluffy throw!

  1. This is absolutely gorgeous! I'm wanting to make one but I've never worked with yarn this big! How did you join your yarn for the color changes? I'm not sure how weaving in ends would turn out! Thank you.
