The Textured Lace Dishcloth is a super easy knitting project that is worked up with some basic stitches. Many of you have requested easy knitting patterns and this one is great whether you are just starting to knit, need a little practice, or just looking for something quick and easy!

Textured Lace Dishcloth

Materials:
- 1 pair US 8 (5.0 mm) straight knitting needles
- 2 US 8 (5.0 mm) double pointed needles (DPNs)
- 1 ball of 24/7 cotton yarn from Lion Brand (Special thanks to Lion Brand yarn for providing yarn for this project and tutorial!)
- Tapestry Needle
- Scissors

Sizing:
- 10 inches tall
- 10 inches wide
Abbreviations and Tutorial Links:
- Long Tail Cast On
- Basic Bind Off
- The Knit Stitch
- The Yarn Over (yo) stitch
- The Knit Two Together (k2tog) stitch
- How To Knit An I-Cord
Instructions:
CO 50 sts.
Rows 1-4: K all sts.
Row 5: K4, *yo, k2tog, rpt from * until 4 sts remain.
Repeat rows 1-4 once more, leaving 3 sts from the last row unworked. Please these sts on a stitch holder. Bind off the other sts and fasten off. Slip three stitches onto a DPN tie working yarn on to continue. Using the DPNs, work 4 inches of i-cord, then fasten off, leaving a long tail. Using a tapestry needle sew i-cord to the base, creating a loop. Weave in any ends.
