Autumn Skies Crochet Shawl

The Autumn Skies Crochet Shawl is a gorgeous lacy shawl celebrating the amazing skies of the autumn season. Swathes of bright blue, golden yellow, and shadowy browns look like a setting sun in the cool fall landscape. The lace stitch is worked up quickly in easy stitches and uses one full yarn cake of Mandala for effortless color changes. Want an super long shawl with more drape? Simply use a second yarn cake and repeat the pattern row!

In the 5th ch from the hook work (2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc). Skip a ch, then in the last ch, work (2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc).

Row 2:

Ch 3 and turn. Work (2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc) in each ch 1 space from the previous row (center of each fan). Work (2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc) into the turning chain space.

Repeat row 2 until the shawl is the desired size or until you run out of yarn. The shawl pictured was approximately 24 inches tall from the bottom starting point to the top edge. 1. I was thinking the same thing? I was going to make this for my Secret Sister. Did you happen to make this with the tassels? God Bless you!

  1. I love this pattern and I am making it for a friend. I do have a question, my work at the top keeps curling over. I have ripped it out and started over 3 times and followed your video step by step. In looking at your finished project, I don't see the top turning under. At this point, I just hope it will look OK when I am done, as I really want to give this to her. TIA
