The Autumn Symphony Shawl is a chunky lace shawl that celebrates the kaleidoscope of colorful autumn foliage.  Super cozy and beautiful, it is a go-to piece for the cooler months ahead.  Worked flat with a simple fan stitch, this project is great for beginners too!

  1. The colors in your yarn are gorgeous, and I love the pattern! I'm trying to stash bust, so I decided to use something I have on hand-definitely tempting to buy something new, though, LOL. It's a number 3. Red Heart Fashion Soft, in artichoke. Since it's a thinner yarn, I did the starting chain with a "J" hook, and then switching to an "I" hook. I added more multiples to get the width I wanted. It's in the early stages, but I think it is really going to turn out lovely. Thanks for making this pattern available!! Peggy O.

  2. I would like to do a foundation row of single crochet, once I chain the lenght I want where would I begin the pattern

  3. I would like to start off with a single crochet Foundation Row in the lenght that I desire. Where would I begin the pattern after the row of single crochet I do not know where to start

  4. While I love the Autumn colors, I am thinking Christmas colors. I saw some variegated green, red and white yarn that would be perfect! I like the suggestion of starting with a foundation row.
