Free Crochet Pattern...Think Pink Friendship Shawl!



The Think Pink Friendship Shawl is a gorgeous and easy to stitch project for breast cancer awareness.  This makes a very special gift for a friend, family member, or a support group.  Looks equally lovely in stripes of pinks too!

Materials:
  • 2 Skeins of Red Heart Super Saver in "Perfect Pink" (If you want more of a brighter/hot pink, "Shocking Pink" is a great choice also)
  • 6.5 mm "K" crochet hook
  • Tapestry needle
  • Scissors
  • Tape Measure

Note: If you need to substitute yarn, look for a "4" medium on the yarn weight scale.

Think Pink Friendship Shawl

Instructions:

Ch 55 (multiple of 4+3)

Row 1: In the 5th ch from the hook work (2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc). *Skip 3 chains and in the chain after that, work (2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc), repeat from * across until 2 chains remain. Skip a ch, then in the last ch, work 1 dc.

Row 2: Ch 3 and turn. Work (2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc) in each ch 1 space from the previous row (center of each fan). Work a dc into the turning chain space.

Repeat row 2 until shawl is 60 inches long or desired length.
Weave in ends and you're finished!

  3. I'm making this for a friend who's cancer decided to go hay
    wire. I'm usually only a Afghan person as this is my "therapy",
    but I've also gotten involved with your scarf challenge
    This so easy and I got the color blossom in baby sport
    everyone who sees it now wants one
