Crochet Rugs For Kids, Book Review & Giveaway!

I have a super fun book review for you today crocheters!   I was recently able to check out Crochet Rugs For Kids by Kristi Simpson (ISBN: 978-1464768071, Leisure Arts).

Crochet Rugs For Kids is a fun book that includes a collection of crochet rugs like penguin, owl, rocket, cow, and more!  Perfect for kid's rooms, playroom, classroom, etc!

One of my favorite things about the book is the variety of techniques and "looks" for each rug.  There are joined motifs, lacy rugs, and more solid graphic rugs too!  How cute is this rocket ship?

Every project in the book is beautifully photographed in full color and includes multiple angles of each piece, as well as close ups of special stitches or edgings.

Each pattern contains a shopping list, gauge information, complete sizing information, and a clear, easy to read written pattern.  Need help finding a particular yarn?  Be sure to check out the "Yarn Information" section on the last page that includes specific brands and what colors were used...so helpful!
