  • Scissors
  • Ruler or tape measure

Sizing:

  • 10 inches across
  • 10 inches tall
  • Flowers are each 1.5 inches wide

Abbreviations and Tutorial Links:

Instructions for main dishcloth (worked in green grass colors):

*Hold strands of smoothie + sparkle together for a grassier effect.  As an alternative, you can just hold on strand of either yarn too.

Ch 30

Row 1: Work a dc in the 4th ch from the hook.  Work a dc in each ch across.

Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as a dc) and turn.  Work a dc in each stitch across, the work a dc in the top of the turning chain.

Repeat row 2 until piece measures about 10 inches tall or until height is roughly the same as the width.

Instructions for flowers (worked in pink and red :

Note: I made 6 flowers total, 3 red and 3 pink.  You can cover your grass in flowers if you like, put just one in the corner, etc.  Completely up to you!

Ch 4, the join into the ch furthest from the hook to create a ring.

Round 1: (Ch 3, 2 dc, sl st) into the center of the ring.  Then work (3 dc, sl st) four times into the center of the ring.  Join with a sl st to close round and fasten off leaving a long tail for seaming.

Finishing & Assembly:

Using tails from flowers, seam them as show in the pictures.  Weave in any ends that remain.
