  1. Love the hat, the way of explaining and the pattern… Soooo lovely, wanna give it a try but such kind of yarn is not available… wanna be part of twelve weeks of gifting series

  2. Love this and thank you for sharing. I’m having trouble with the starting double crochet row folding under when I do the fpdc’s. It just disappears and I’m left with only the front posts.

  3. For round 1 how many double crochets should there be at the end of the round? I have 49 double crochets, thanks so much. 🙂

  4. Love this design, can't wait to get started. How can I make the ribbing a different color? Would it be Rd 5 to change yarn and then alternate before decreasing?

  5. What great video instructions! Some of the best I've ever seen. Great blog too. Thank you so much for sharing.

  6. Hey! Nice pattern, easy to follow!
One thing though, when i got tk the decrease i found it very, gapped. I often find rapid decrease to look this way, and next time around ill try the pattern backwards to do an increase on the crown which seems smoother. Also i suck at bpdc on the first stitch of a new row, any tips to make it less bumpy?

  7. Has anyone tried this with medium weight yarn? Love the design but thought it might be nice in a lighter yarn as well. 🤔
