Deep Comfort Cowl, Free Crochet Pattern + Video

The Deep Comfort Cowl is a luxuriously soft cowl that is easy as pie to stitch up.  Simple crochet stitches and chain spaces are super easy to work with with the fuzzy yarn and it takes no time flat to have a gorgeous cowl!

Materials:
  • 6.5 mm "K" crochet hook
  • 1 ball of Hygge Fur from Red Heart (I used the "Royal Purple" colorway)
  • Tapestry Needle
  • Scissors
  • Tape Measure

Sizing:
  • 14 inches tall
  • 38 inch circumference

Instructions:
Ch 41 (to change the width, any odd multiple will work)

Row 1:  In the third ch from the hook, work a (dc, ch 1)  *Skip a ch, then work a (dc, ch 1) in the next ch.  Repeat from * across, then work a dc into the last chain.

Row 2:  Ch 3 and turn.  *Work a (dc, ch 1) in the ch 1 space from the previous row.  Repeat from * across, the work a dc into the topmost chain of the turning chain.

Repeat row 2 until the rectangle measures about 38 inches long or desired length (length will determine the finished circumference).

Holding two edges together, slip stitch the edges together by working a slip stitch into each space across.

Fasten off and weave in and ends that remain.
