Materials:
- H (5.0 mm) crochet hook
- Cotton Dishcloth Yarn (I used Scrubby Smoothie from Red Heart)
- Tapestry Needle
- Scissors
- Approximately 1 inch across
*Note: Try experimenting with different yarn and hook sizes for different button sizes!
Instructions:
Ch 4, join in the furthest chain from the hook to create a ring.
Round 1: Ch 2, then work 16 hdc into the center of the ring. (You may need to slide stitches over to fit everything into the ring. All of those stitches will make a firm, sturdy button!)

Fasten off and weave any ends that remain. Sew to any item needing a button!

ReplyDeleteThis is just what I was looking for, thank you! But I am wondering how to sew it to my project since there's just the one hole in the middle?
