Giveaway! Enter To Win A Course From The American Crochet Association!

Happy Friday lovelies!  I have an exciting review and giveaway for you today!

The American Crochet Association is celebrating its 5 year anniversary this month!  Are you familiar with the ACA?  The American Crochet Association is “providing an unparalleled education in the craft of crochet through a series of online courses. Anyone who has ever dreamt of higher education in learning, teaching, and/or designing in this craft now has the opportunity to do so thanks to the series of courses developed over the past five years” (from the ACA site).

Note: I received free course access to review.  All opinions are 100% my own.

I am so excited to tell you that I have partnered up with the ACA for this special milestone and have been taking a course myself for the past few weeks!  The course I am working on is called “Ultimate Stitch Challenge,” a huge crochet stitch bundle!  It has been so much fun to brush up on old favorites and learn new ones too!

The course includes 30 different crochet stitches, 85 video tutorials, and 54 functional patterns!  If you’ve ever wanted to learn a bunch of new stitches, this is a great opportunity!  I found the tutorials easy to follow, the site easy to navigate, and the instructor/founder Salena Baca (who is totally awesome by the way) is committed to your crochet success!

Above is just a small sampling of the stitch swatches, but the full list of stitches from this course include:

  • Alternating Spike
  • Arabel Cable
  • Basketweave
  • Bobble
  • Broomstick Lace
  • Cable Towers
  • Diamond Lace
  • Filet Squares
  • Hairpin Lace
  • Half Double V
  • Interlocking Block
  • Jeobneun
  • Lacy Wave
  • Linen Stitch
  • Puff
  • Sedge
  • Silt
  • Simple Chevron
  • Single Crochet Cluster
  • Slanted Puff
  • Smooth Wave
  • Solomon’s Knot
  • Star Stitch
  • Trinity
  • Tunisian Knit
  • Tunisian Simple
  • Uneven Berry
  • Waffle
  • Wavy Shell

So fun, right?  Then once you’ve practiced and mastered the stitch, you can apply your new knowledge to a variety of projects using the stitch as well.  For example, the bobble stitch has a bobble stitch cozy and a dishcloth too!

This is just one of many courses and learning paths, you can brush up on more technical crochet skills, or even learn how to launch and run a successful crochet business too!

Intrigued?  Now’s your chance to win the course for a year, so you’ll have lots of time to learn and take your time mastering all of those fabulous stitches!

Five winners (yes five!) will win one full year (yes a full year!) of access to the “Ultimate Stitch Challenge: Crochet Stitch Bundle” Awesome, right?  Thanks ACA!

Giveaway is going on NOW through October 23. Must be 18 or older to enter. Open worldwide! Prize winners will be notified via email.  Now go, go, go and enter!!!
