- 4.0 mm G crochet hook
- 230 yards of DK weight yarn (I used the DK of the "Jingle Bits" colorway of City Girl Country Yarns)
- Tapestry needle
- Scissors
- Tape measure
Finished Sizing:
- 6.5 inches wide
- 42 inch circumference
Instructions:
(Multiple of 4 + 2)
Ch 26
Row 1: dc in 4th ch from hook, 1 dc in next ch, *(1 dc, ch 3, 1 dc) in next ch, skip 1 ch, 1 dc in each of the next 2 ch, repeat from * 1 dc in the last ch.
Row 2: Ch 5 and turn. Work *(3 dc, ch 3, 1 dc) in the ch 3 sp, repeat from * then 3 dc in 3rd ch of t-ch.
Row 3: Ch 5 and turn. Work *(3 dc, ch 3, 1 dc) in the ch 3 sp, repeat from * then 3 dc in 5th ch of t-ch. Repeat rows 3 until about 42 inches long or desired length.
Fasten off and cut yarn leaving a 24 inch tail for seaming.
Assembly and Finishing:
- Seam ends together using the long tail from the project and a tapestry needle.
- It is super helpful to lay everything flat as you work.
- Weave in any ends that remain and it's ready to wear!
