Christmas Cookie Cowl, Free Crochet Pattern + Video


The Christmas Cookie Cowl is a gorgeously lacy cowl, stitched up in luxurious holiday yarn!  Stay cozy and festive with this super easy project that you can make in a flash to add some holiday cheer!  Makes a lovely holiday gift too!

Materials:

Finished Sizing:
  • 6.5 inches wide
  • 42 inch circumference


Instructions:

(Multiple of 4 + 2)


Ch 26
Row 1: dc in 4th ch from hook, 1 dc in next ch, *(1 dc, ch 3, 1 dc) in next ch, skip 1 ch, 1 dc in each of the next 2 ch, repeat from * 1 dc in the last ch.

Row 2: Ch 5 and turn. Work *(3 dc, ch 3, 1 dc) in the ch 3 sp, repeat from * then 3 dc in 3rd ch of t-ch. 

Row 3: Ch 5 and turn. Work *(3 dc, ch 3, 1 dc) in the ch 3 sp, repeat from * then 3 dc in 5th ch of t-ch. Repeat rows 3 until about 42 inches long or desired length. 

Fasten off and cut yarn leaving a 24 inch tail for seaming.

Assembly and Finishing:
  • Seam ends together using the long tail from the project and a tapestry needle.
  • It is super helpful to lay everything flat as you work.
  • Weave in any ends that remain and it's ready to wear!
