Celebrate the gorgeous fall foliage with the Lovely Leaves Earrings! Cute little leaves are crocheted in just one round and making several in fabulous fall colors creates a gorgeous little cluster. Fun to make and fun to wear!

Lovely Leaves Earrings

Materials:
- 3.75 mm F crochet hook
- Embroidery floss in a variety of fall leaf colors (I used DMC floss in colors )
- Tapestry needle
- Scissors
- Jewelry pliers
- 2 hook style earrings (you can use the kind in the photo or the french hooks if you prefer)
- Jump rings
Sizing:
- Each leaf is about a half inch tall
- Entire earring (from bottom of leaves to top of hook) is about 2.5 inches tall)
Instructions for leaf (make 4 per earring, 8 total):
Ch 4, join with a slip stitch to create a ring.
Round 1: In the center of the ring work (2 hdc, 2 sc, 1 dc, 2 sc). Join with a slip stitch to close round. Fasten off and weave in ends. Shape up the leaves a bit too.
Assembly & Finishing:
Using pliers, add a jump ring to the top of each leaf point. connect them all with another jump ring and attach to the earring hook. Optional: to give the leaves a bit of varying hanging length, you may want to add an additional jump ring to some of the leaves to add interest. For the earrings shown, I ended up making two leaves with one jump ring and two leaves with two jump rings. You may want to play around with yours a little to see what look you like best. Take care to be sure the leaves will all be facing forward when you wear them.
