The Helen Shawlette is a lovely little wrap crocheted in cool, supersoft cotton. Alternating puff and V stitches give this wrap fantastic texture, making it super fun to both make and wear!

Materials:
- 3.75 mm F crochet hook
- 744 yards of #1 superfine weight yarn (I used 4 balls of Baby Cotton from Hobbii in the Gray, Sky Blue, Eucalyptus, and Light Rose)
- Tapestry needle
- Scissors
- Tape measure
Sizing:
- 40 inches along top edge
- 28 inches from bottom point straight up
- 34 inches along each side of the triangle
Instructions:
*Note: The puff stitches in this piece are worked by wrapping yarn around hook and bring up a loop (3 loops on the hook, wrapping yarn around hook and bring up a loop (5 loops on the hook, wrapping yarn around hook and bring up a loop (7 loops on the hook). Wrap yarn around hook one last time and bring hook through all 7 loops. Chain 1 to close stitch.
Ch 10
Row 1: In the 4th ch from the hook, work a (dc, ch 1, dc). *Skip 2 chains, then work a puff stitch (see note above on how to work this stitch) in the next chain. Skip 2 chains then work a (dc, ch 1, dc) in that last chain.
Row 2: Ch 3 and turn. Work a puff stitch into the ch 1 space from previous row (center of the v stitch). Work (dc, ch 1, dc) into the top of the puff stitch (the chain that you made to close the stitch). Work a puff stitch into the ch 1 space from previous row (center of the v stitch). In the next ch 1 space (center of the "v") work a puff stitch. Work (dc, ch 1, dc) into the turning chain space.
Row 3: Ch 3 and turn. *Work a puff stitch into the ch 1 space from previous row (center of the v stitch). Work (dc, ch 1, dc) into the top of the puff stitch (the chain that you made to close the stitch). Repeat from * across, then work a puff stitch into the turning chain space.
Row 4: Ch 3 and turn. *Work (dc, ch 1, dc) into the top of the puff stitch (the chain that you made to close the stitch). Work a puff stitch into the ch 1 space from previous row (center of the v stitch). Repeat from * across, then work a puff stitch into the turning chain space.
Row 5: Ch 3 and turn. *Work (dc, ch 1, dc) into the top of the puff stitch (the chain that you made to close the stitch). Work a puff stitch into the ch 1 space from previous row (center of the v stitch). Repeat from * across, then work (dc, ch 1, dc) into the turning chain space.
Repeat rows 2-5 until piece is about 28 inches tall or desired size.
Finishing:
Weave in all ends with a tapestry needle and you're finished!
