These printers are a modern updated version of home label printers, they do so much more!  They have a ton of sticker-type labels in neon, matte, metallics, pearl, even a chalkboard looking one (plus a ton more!). Also, you can make magnets with it and wait for it…ribbon!!  It prints whatever you want onto ribbon, so much fun!

Check out my video unboxing and review of the label printers and see them in action!

(Can’t see the video?  Click here!)

I love how it is easy to control with an app, just grab it from the app store (Apple users) or the Google Play App Store (Android users) and you’re ready to go.  There are a ton of fonts, and even fancy frames and clip art too!

*Update: There is a newer version of the app available than what was shown in the video. You can get it here!

And did I mention the ribbon?! Oh the possibilities!

Here are some ideas I came up with for us crafty people:

  • Magnet with your shop name for promoting your shop.
  • “Handmade by (your name here)” for finished projects ready for gifting.
  • Labeling missing or damaged yarn labels.
  • Labels for your small business files.
  • Personalized ribbon for a child’s hair.
  • Labeling yarn bins.
  • Professional looking return address labels for mailing or shipping.
  • Personalized ribbon for giving gifts.
  • Ribbon with your name or your business name for tying tags onto products.
  • Sticker “flags” to identify a size needle or hook if it has disappeared.
  • And on and on!  What would you make?  Share in the comments!

  1. Love the label maker. Thanks for sharing about it. My husband loves to label everything and this would be fun to use.

  2. I really like the idea of creating labels for my crochet and knitting tools and supplies. I wish it could print Braille as well as print; sometimes my eyes are having a bad day and reading print isn't an option.

  3. This would be such a great help in organizing my yarn stash. Of course, given its size, and since it extends back to the 1970s, perhaps I should call it a yarn museum. Yes, that's it! I would label the displays in my Yarn Museum! Then I would open a new wing for my pattern books/pamphlets/magazines/printouts/etc., which reach back to the mid 1800s.

  4. A grown up version of the old dymo label maker, I love it! I would use this to label bins and make ribbon labels for my crochet projects. Thank you!

  5. I would use the labels on my files with patterns and on the boxes with yarn. The ribbon I would use when I wrap gifts or charity donations.

  8. If I had my way, my entire kitchen and craft area would be beautifully labeled and organized – so that's where I'd start. 20 types of beans, rice, and flour are begging for some accurate labeling.

  9. Those label printers are so cool. I can think of a million things to use them for, but mostly I would want to make tags for my projects and label with fiber content and care instructions. Also maybe "made with love by Michelle"

  10. I would use the label maker to make my toddlers room more accessible for independence by labeling her clothing drawers and toy bins.

This would be great so I could get in what they are made out of and laundry instructions
