Instructions For The French Buttercream Shawl:
Multiple of 3+2
Ch 68
Row 1:
Work a sc in the 2nd ch from the hook. *Ch 3, then skip 2 ch, then work a sc into the next ch. Repeat from * across.
Row 2:
Ch 3 and turn (counts as a dc). Work a dc into the first sc from the last row. *Work a sc into the ch 3 space, then work a 3 dc into the sc (the one in between the two ch 3 spaces). Repeat from * to end of row, then work 2 dc into that last sc from the previous row.
Row 3:
Ch 1 and turn. Work a sc in that very first dc from the previous row. * Ch 3, then work a sc into the centermost stitch of the fan (fans made with 3 dc in the previous row). Repeat from * across, then work a sc into the turning chain space at the end of the row.
Repeat rows 2 and 3 until the shawl measures about 56 inches long or desired length. Weave in ends and your French Buttercream Shawl is ready to wear!
