The (growing) unfinished project heap...

There was a stitchy lady (perhaps like you?)
She had so many projects she didn't know what to do...

Can you relate?

OK, the remainder of November will officially be "Operation Get It Done" is anyone with me?  I have so many unfinished projects and scraps of paper with scrawled notes on them...poor things, just waiting to be finished.  I'm slightly embarrassed to say, what you see here is just the tip of the iceberg.  Onward and upward stitchy friends!

  1. I actually reached a point last week that I did not have a project on my needles of hook, I think I went into some sort of meltdown mode and quickly picked up some yarn to make stars so I did not end up in the hospital in a psychiatric ward. Anything I have that is not finished right now is not ever going to get finished so I might as well face that fact.
    Good luck this month,

    1. Oh my! Here's a yarny hug just for you! I seem to experience a similar panic around this time of year when I realize I probably bit off more that I could chew. Sigh.

  2. Ha ha...you should see my pile too. :) Three kid-sized hats in the works, plus a few half finished preemie hats (as fast as they go I have no idea why they aren't finished!), plus a quilt I am still sewing, my first sock that has only about 3 inches knitted, and a few crochet flowers. Geez, why can't I just commit to something and finish it before moving on to the next? Good luck with yours and wish me luck with mine! lol

  3. Hey! I recognize that skein of yarn on the left!! It's LION Tweed Stripe in Caribbean; I made a lovely wrap out of that yummy stuff & also a scarf for my nephew with the same yarn in the Woodlands colors...VERY SCRUMPTIOUS & yet MANLY, too! Jennifer, I also emailed you something funny about MY unfinished projects, feel free to share it if you like. Not sure if this will post or not, I seem to have trouble leaving comments lately. God bless you!

    1. Love that Caribbean yarn too! I made a scarf a while back called the tweedy eyelet scarf (knitting pattern) and the person who received it loved it! I had so much left over though, I have something else in the works...

PS Got your hilarious email...you're a hoot!!!

I am going to try out those "curly-cue" thingies instead of fringe on one of my CHRISTmas scarf gifts...thanks for that fun new idea!
