Love this pattern and your colors!! TY!
ReplyDeleteHi, lovely scarf. I just checked and this yarn has been discontinued. It seems like Araucania does that a lot:(.
ReplyDeleteI think you're right, such a shame, it is really pretty stuff. If you need to substitute, you can do so with any yarn that recommends a J hook on the yarn label. :)
DeleteIt is a beautiful stitch.
ReplyDeletethanks,
Meredith

ReplyDeleteThanks Maggie, the giveaway was so much fun. :)
DeleteI love your blog and your patterns..you do beautiful work..would you explain to me what it means in a pattern that you can increase by using multiples..like in this pattern..use a multiple of 4+3..Thanks
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your kind comment. For multiples, should you need to change the length, you would make your starting chain and multiples of 4, then add 3 to it. For example, you could do 4+4+4+4+4+4, then add three. Or 4+4+4+4, and then add three to that, etc. This allows you to customize the length of your scarf, but keep the correct starting chain and stitch sequence. I hope that helps, please let me know if you have any other questions. :)
DeleteSorry to be dense, but do you mean add 4 stitches to the chain and each following row and then 3 to the last row? Or do you mean that if you add to the chain row, you need to make sure the number of stitches is a multiple of 4 (151, 155, etc.)? If so, where do the 3 stitches go? Sorry, I'm pretty new to this.
DeleteAnother wonderful piece ! Thanks for sharing these marvelous creations with us !
