  • I (5.5 mm) crochet hook
  • A few yards of Red Heart Super Saver or similar weight yarn (I used the "Medium Thyme" colorway
  • Tapestry Needle
  • Scissors
  • Tape Measure
  • Pin Backing or safety pin
  • Button of your choice
  • About three inches across (sizing may vary depending on the yarn and hook used)

Make three for shamrock, make 4 for lucky four leaf clover.

Chain 4 and join with a slip stitch to form a ring.

Round 1 (work all stitches into the ring): dc, tr, dc, sl st, dc, tr, dc, 3 sc, tr, 3 sc, then join to close to close round with a slip stitch.

With matching matching piece of yarn, seam hearts together (be sure right side of each heart is facing upward).

Sew pin backing or safety pin onto back of pin and sew button to center front of pin.

Weave in any ends that remain.
