Lucky In Love Pin, Free Crochet Pattern + Video


The Lucky in Love Pin is a sweet little crochet pin that you can stitch up in no time flat!  Easily made with just three or four one round hearts and topped with a special button, you'll have a gorgeous pin for St. Patrick's Day in just minutes!

Materials:
  • I (5.5 mm) crochet hook 
  • A few yards of Red Heart Super Saver or similar weight yarn (I used the "Medium Thyme" colorway
  • Tapestry Needle 
  • Scissors 
  • Tape Measure
  • Pin Backing or safety pin
  • Button of your choice
Sizing:
  • About three inches across (sizing may vary depending on the yarn and hook used)

Instructions:

Make three for shamrock, make 4 for lucky four leaf clover.

Chain 4 and join with a slip stitch to form a ring.

Round 1 (work all stitches into the ring): dc, tr, dc, sl st, dc, tr, dc, 3 sc, tr, 3 sc, then join to close to close round with a slip stitch.


With matching matching piece of yarn, seam hearts together (be sure right side of each heart is facing upward).  

Sew pin backing or safety pin onto back of pin and sew button to center front of pin.

Weave in any ends that remain.
