These cute sparkly earrings are a perfect warm weather crochet project. Fun variegated cotton thread make them extra fun and clear glass beads add some sparkle too!
Summer Sparkle Earrings

Sizing:
- 1.5 inches across
- Size 10 crochet thread, any color (color shown here is Aunt Lydia's Classic 10 in "Pastel Variegated"
- B (2.25 mm)crochet hook
- 2 French hook earring findings
- 20 clear glass beads (10 per earring)
- Scissors
- Cross stitch needle (I used a #24) or any needle you can get thread into the eye and pass a bead through.

Instructions:
Before you begin to crochet, string beads and earring hook onto thread with a needle. I strung a few beads, then the earring hook, then the rest of them. Earrings as shown in photos used 10 beads each, but string a few extra just in case.
Ch 8, join in the ch furthest from the hook with a sl st.
Round 1: ch 3 (counts as a dc), work 23 dc into the center of the ring.
Round 2: In the first st, *work a (sc, ch 1, slide a bead over, ch 1 incorporating bead, sc). In the next st work a sc. Repeat from * to end of the round.
Note: Earring hook is worked the same way as the beads, when you come to the hook, just work it in the same way as if it was a bead too.
Finishing: Weave in all ends and you're finished!
