The Rosette Earring is a quick and pretty little project that you can whip up in no time flat. Make a pair to match each outfit...the earrings also make beautiful gifts too!
Rosette Earrings

Materials:
- Embroidery floss, colors of your choice
- B (2.25 mm) crochet hook
- Tapestry needle
- Post earring set with earring back for each
- Scissors
- Ruler (optional)
- Hot glue, fabric glue or other glue of your choice
Sizing:
- 1/2 inch wide for rose only
- 3/4 inch for rose and leaf

Instructions for Rosette:
Ch 6
Work 3 dc in each ch across. Fasten off.
Instructions for Leaf
Ch 4 and join in the chain furthest from hook to form a ring.
In the center of the ring work (6 dc, 4 sc, 1 tr, 4 sc)
Join with a sl st to close round and fasten off.
Finishing & Assembly:
Weave in ends of the leaf. Thread one of the rose tails with a tapestry needle. Coil up rose and sew together to keep it from coming apart. Weave other tail in. Stack rose on top, then leaf, then post on the bottom and glue everything together. Allow to completely dry before wearing.
