Berry Sparkles Finger Crochet Cowl, Free Crochet Pattern + Video


The Berry Sparkles Cowl is a fun and super quick project that produces a chunky cowl with a lovely & lofty drape.  Worked up using just your fingers, this is an excellent project for kids too!  If you've never finger crocheted before, not to worry, there is a full video tutorial below to walk you through stitch by stitch!

Materials:

Get yarn for this project here!

Sizing:
  • 12 inches tall
  • 32 inch circumference

Note:  If you are unfamiliar with finger crochet, check out this video below!


Instructions:

Ch 16.
Row 1: In the 2nd ch from your finger, work a sc.  Work a sc in each ch across.
Row 2: Ch 2 and turn.  Work a sc in each stitch across and then a sc in the turning ch space.

Repeat row 2 until price measures 32 inches from starting edge.  Fasten off with a long tail (about 60 inches or so) and do not weave in.


Finishing & Assembly:

Sandwiching the edges together (edge where piece was begun and last row worked), whip stitch seam edges together with your fingers (if you have never whip stitch seamed before, check out the project tutorial above).  Fasten off with a secure knot and weave in tail.
