The Copper Skies Button Wrap is an elegant and versatile wrap that is soft as a dream! Materials:
- 2 Balls of Hygge by Red Heart (I used the "Rust" colorway)
- K (6.5 mm) crochet hook
- Tapestry needle
- Scissors
- Large buttons of your choice (I used screw-on pedestal buttons by Jul)

Sizing:
- 16 Inches Wide
- 60 Inches Long
Instructions:
Ch 48
Row 1: In the 4th ch from the hook, work a dc. Work a dc in each ch across.
Row 2: Ch 3 and turn (counts as a dc). Work a dc in the next st. *ch 2, skip the next two sts, work a dc in the next two sts. Repeat from * across. (Note: at the end of the row, work a dc in the last st, then a dc in the top chain of the turning chain from the previous row)
Row 3: Ch 3 and turn (counts as a dc). Work a dc in the next st. *Work 2 dc in the ch 2 space (from previous row), then work a dc in each of the next two sts. Repeat from * across, then work a dc in the top chain of the turning chain from the previous row.
Repeat rows 2 and 3 until wrap is approximately 48 inches long, ending on row 3 for a more finished look.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful wrap! I'm confused about the sizing though. At the beginning you say it is 16x60 but then in the bottom paragraph in the instructions you say to weave until 48 in long. Also in the picture it looks wider than 16 in. If you could give me some guidance on it I would truly appreciate it!
