Know some yarn lovers? I do, I do! Make this fun and super easy ornament to proclaim your love of yarn this holiday season. Hang it on the tree or use it to adorn a package too! This is a great project to use up all of those end of the year yarn and craft leftovers and is a project kids can do all by themselves as well!
Materials:
- Yarn scraps of your choice (I used Red Heart Super Saver in "Spring Green" "Paddy Green" "Cherry Red, and "White")
- Clear plastic or glass ornament (plastic is a bit safer and sturdier, but you can use either)
- Scissors
- Pointy object like a pencil, or knitting needle to stuff yarn into ornament's opening
- Ribbon for hanging
- Optional Embellishments: ribbon, buttons, pom poms, gems, etc.

Instructions:
- Carefully remove the top of the ornament.
- Clip yarn if needed to give it a "mixed up" look.
- Stuff into the ornament.
- Stuff anything else you may have like pom poms, buttons, ribbon scraps, etc. Clean out that craft room for the new year!
- Replace cap.
- Cut a piece of ribbon and tie on for a hanging loop.
- Optional: With a paint pen or Sharpie, you can add a person's name to the front too! This is especially nice is you use it as a gift tag and the recipient can hang it on the tree later.
Happy holiday crafting lovelies!
