The Rainbow Splash Bath Mat is a pretty little mat that will brighten up any bath or shower area! Textured "scrubby yarn gives it a fun feel and the stitch pattern is super easy and perfect for the novelty style yarn. Make one or more in rainbow like I did or in specific colors for your own decor!

Materials:
- J (6.0 mm) crochet hook
- Scrubby Cotton from Red Heart (I used Lemony, Tulip Pink, Lavender, Caribbean, and Jade)
- Tapestry Needle
- Scissors

- 28 inches long
- 15 inches wide

Note: I worked 7 rows of each color in rainbow order as shown, starting in green.
Ch 43
Row 1: In the 6th ch from the hook, work (2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc). *Skip 5 ch, then in the next ch work (2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc). Repeat from * until 4 chains remain. Work a dc in the last ch.
Row 2: Ch 3 and turn. Work a (2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc) in each ch 3 space from the previous row. Work a dc in the turning chain space.
Row 2: Ch 3 and turn. Work a (2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc) in each ch 3 space from the previous row. Work a dc in the turning chain space.
Repeat row 2 until piece is 28 inches long or desired length.
